Import

This action imports a Gedcom file.

ItOnly isGedcom onlyformat possiblefiles tocan importbe a fileimported in Gedcom format.Ancestris.

Upon clicking Import, Ancestris will launch the import wizard which will explain toguide you thatin the fileprocess.

Then Ancestris will ask you to indicateselect the originsoftware name which has produced the Gedcom file, and to give the location of thethis file and its location.file.

Ancestris knows how to recognize fifteen different origins. If youthe don'tsoftware know,is tellnot himin the list suggested by Ancestris, simply use "Unknown".

In all cases, Ancestris will verifycheck itsthe origin.origin of the file.

Click on Finish and then Ancestris will start the import.
