Certain tools apply only to the selected Gedcom file. Therefore, they won't be available if none is open.
Genealogy Search
Search for individuals in common with other Ancestris users.
Registers Records
Allows you to enter deeds or retrieve records (birth-marriage, death, other) and then integrate them into your genealogy.
Datulator
Display a calculation tool, specifically designed for dates and calendars. Quite useful when we want to estimate dates to search from deeds already found.
Calculator
Display a simple calculator to avoid having to search for an external one.
Validate Gedcom Compliance and data consistency
Detect non-compliance with the Gedcom standard and consistency anomalies.
Merge Duplicates
Identify duplicates and merge them.
Common Ancestor
Identify common ancestors between two individuals on your genealogy.
Quick Reports
Run the reports immediately.
Flash List
Run the Flash List report to the selected individual.
Family Groups
Run the Family groups report.
Close Relatives
Run the Close Relatives report.
Lists and Reports
Open the Lists and Reports window, which gives access to a large set of reports Ancestris can perform on your genealogy, except those described above.
Publication
Publish your genealogy on a file or on the Internet, Web site style. Ancestris proposes two variants.
Web Book
Generates a genealogy under a form of Web pages, locally or on a remote server.
Web Site
Generates a Web site.
Print of current view
Prints the selected view. A preview window will open.
