Create your genealogy

If you feel like starting your own first genealogy, or convert your paper genealogy to computer data because it has become to difficult to manage by hand, a wizard will guide you step by step withto the creation ofcreate a new genealogy file,file and enteringto enter your first individuals.

Migrate your genealogy to Ancestris

If you already use another genealogy software and aim to move it to Ancestris, it is as simple as opening a Gedcom file exported by the other software. Ancestris keepswill keep all the exported data, analyses them,it, and displays themit automatically.

In either case, it is possible to do it from the Welcome page, like below, from the File menu, or using the buttons on the tools bar.toolbar.
