# Research notepad

Research notepad is intended to replace post-its and loose sheets.

## Description

You can create notes that are independent of any GEDCOM file.

You can add notes that will only be visible if you open the relevant GEDCOM file.

Notes are stored in “**.notes**” files in your user directory.
